"PhoneMend did a superb job for me today, I was astonished by the speed in which they repaired my Samsung Galaxy, and at such a good price too!"
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a beautifully clear high definition screen, the edges of which wrap smoothly around the long sides of the phone. This feature gives the smartphone an extremely sophisticated look, and makes it lovely to handle. It also enables a number of cool features such as colour changes to indicate incoming calls and texts. However, the more glass there is on a smartphone, the more susceptible it will be to damage, and the Galaxy S6 Edge has a lot of glass edges to damage.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, in conjunction with the Galaxy S6, was unveiled at the inaugural ‘Samsung Unpacked’ March 2015 event (hosted by Samsung Electronics), as the replacements for the S5. The S6 Edge is an Android smartphone with a similar design to the S6, except that the screen curves around the long edges of the phone. The curved screen gives the handset an attractive and exclusive look and a feel, as well as enabling several exclusive new features, such as colour changes indicating calls and alerts.
In common with the S6, the S6 Edge has a high definition AMOLED display (5.1 inch), a fingerprint scanner and a higher spec camera. The Galaxy S6 Edge is also fitted with mobile payments via an electromagnetic field, which sends data to a retail terminal in the same way as swiping a credit card magnetic strip. Although popular with the buying public, the S6 Edge shared criticism with the S6 around the user’s inability to replace the battery or expand storage in the phone, and also because Samsung had sacrificed the ability to resist water damage in order to accommodate other features such as wireless charging.
