"PhoneMend did a superb job for me today, I was astonished by the speed in which they repaired my Samsung Galaxy, and at such a good price too!"
The Samsung Galaxy S8+ is a large format ‘phablet’ smartphone, and in common with all these phones, can be hard to keep hold of. This model also has a glass back, which gives it style and elegance, but adds to the difficulty in keeping it in your hand. A drop onto concrete or into water can leave you with a cracked screen, damaged case or water damage – you may therefore need to call on the services of an expert in Samsung phone repairs.
We set up the PhoneMend network specifically to help Samsung Galaxy phone users to get in contact with Samsung phone repair experts, who can often carry out mobile phone repairs while you wait. There are PhoneMend repair centres all across the UK, so wherever you are, you’re never far away from help with a timely Galaxy S8+ repair, at an affordable price.
To find a local PhoneMend approved technician, we need you to give us your post code. In return, we will give you details of every local Samsung Galaxy repairer, plus the services they offer, so you can make your choice. You then have the option to ask for a no-obligation quotation for your repair (free of charge), or you can simply contact the repairers directly for a chat and some advice on how to proceed. Why not treat your Galaxy S8+ to a little TLC from a local Samsung phone repair expert?
Released in the UK in April 2017 after being revealed a month earlier, the Samsung Galaxy S8+ was an Android smartphone, and was the follow-up to the Galaxy S7 Edge. With a taller aspect ratio, a 6.2” screen and a back casing made of glass, the S8+ had other features which separated it from the earlier model. Changes included the option of a docking station which enabled the phone to operate with a keyboard and mouse like a personal computer, iris and face recognition, and ‘Bixby’ – a new virtual assistant.
The S8+ generated positive criticism from reviewers for its style and physical properties, and they also appreciated the quality of the camera, and the software improvements that had been incorporated. They were less positive about some aspects, such as the face recognition function, which it was discovered could be deceived by a picture of the owner’s face, although this was not a security issue as there were several other security features on the phone. The position of the fingerprint sensor was also an issue, as it was (unusually) on the back of the phone. The Galaxy S8+ in fact was a hit with the public, and like-for-like sales were more than 30% higher than the previous model.
