"PhoneMend did a superb job for me today, I was astonished by the speed in which they repaired my Samsung Galaxy, and at such a good price too!"
The Samsung Galaxy S8 has been praised for the elegance and comfort in the hand, plus its ‘highly polished’ look which is achieved by having a glass back case. Glass is beautiful to look at, but slippery to hold, and this phone is therefore prone to screen and case damage if you handle it too roughly. If the worst happens, and your Galaxy S8 takes a tumble, you will need a competent Samsung Galaxy phone repair expert to put things right for you.
The PhoneMend network was specifically set up to make Samsung mobile phone repair experts available to phone users in need of a Galaxy S8 repair, wherever in the UK they happen to be. Whether it’s the screen, the LCD or the casing that has been damaged on your Galaxy S8, you can find a local Samsung repair expert to help you, and at a cost you can afford to pay.
Finding your nearest PhoneMend repair technician is so easy – just tell us your post code, and we will give you contact details for all the Samsung phone repair specialists in your local area. Along with the contact details will be a list of the services they offer, and the chance to get a free quote for the repair you need, with no obligation to proceed. Many Samsung repairs can be done while you wait, and most repairers offer a choice of walk-in, mail-in or call-out services, so you won’t be kept waiting too long.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 with the Galaxy S8+ were unveiled at the end of March 2017, and became available at the end of April 2017 in the UK. The S8 was the successor to the Galaxy S7, featuring design changes which included curved sides, a larger screen, glass back and an aspect ratio which was taller than the previous model. Other changes included the ability to use the phone with a docking station, keyboard and mouse like a PC, plus face and iris recognition ability, and a virtual assistant called Bixby.
The S8 was greeted with positive reactions from critics due to the physical appearance and form, plus improved software and a good camera (the camera was actually the same one used in the S7). However, ‘Bixby’ was not universally well-received, and there were adverse comments about having a fingerprint sensor at the back of the device. It was also reported that you could ‘fool’ the face recognition scanner with a picture of the user. Having said all that, the S8 sold over 30% more units than the S7 over a similar time period, so it must have gone down well with the buying public.
