The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was made public at IFA Berlin (the major electronics and consumer trade show) on 3rd September 2014, and released for global sales the next month. This Android smartphone succeeded the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and was available in four colours: charcoal black, blossom pink, frosted white and bronze gold. With an imitation leather back (similar in appearance to the Galaxy Note 3 but without the faux stitching) and a metal edge, this stylish phablet has an S Pen (stylus) which fits seamlessly into the outline of the device.
Praised by critics as the ‘handsomest’ of the Note series so far, the Galaxy Note 4 initially didn’t sell quite as quickly as the Galaxy Note 3. Samsung claimed this was due to post-launch manufacturing problems which pushed supplies for some regions into November. However, this model was still extremely popular, and sold well until replaced in 2015 by the Galaxy Note 5.
