"PhoneMend did a superb job for me today, I was astonished by the speed in which they repaired my Samsung Galaxy, and at such a good price too!"
The Samsung Galaxy S6 with its Gorilla Glass back and metal frame is a smart-looking Android smartphone. Although the glass back gives this mobile phone a classy appearance, it can cause problems with loss of grip. If you drop your S6, it may leave you with a cracked case or in need of a screen repair, and if you drop it into water you could really be in trouble, because this Samsung smartphone isn’t waterproof.
If you are unlucky enough to end needing a water damage repair or an S6 screen replacement, we have good news for you. The PhoneMend network has repair centres dotted about all over the UK, and the technicians are Samsung Galaxy repair experts. They are on hand to repair and restore your Samsung Galaxy S6 to full working order, quickly and efficiently. They understand you don’t want to be without your mobile phone a moment longer than necessary, and you don’t want to pay over the odds for a repair.
Finding a local PhoneMend repair location is simple – tell us where you are located and you will be able to see contact details of all the centres around and about. You can give the technicians a call for help and advice, or simply request a free online quote for your Samsung Galaxy S6 repair. You are under no obligation to proceed with the repair, but once you see our prices, you won’t want to go anywhere else.
The Samsung Galaxy S6, along with the S6 Edge Android smartphones were revealed at the very first ‘Samsung Unpacked’ event, which was held by Samsung Electronics in March 2015. The devices were released for sale in 30 countries in August the same year, with the S6 being intended to replace the Galaxy S5. Instead of the plastic back on the S5, the S6 has a toughened glass back and a metal frame, making it feel higher quality in the hand, plus an improved camera, fingerprint scanner and display.
The Galaxy S6 also incorporates a mobile payment platform that involves the device mimicking a credit card magnetic strip, which generates an electromagnetic field, detected by the terminal. The build quality of the S6 was widely praised as being better than previous Galaxy smartphones, but the lack of expandable storage and non-user-replaceable battery met with disapproval, because these features of past Samsung phones have always been major selling points for power-hungry users. The S6 was also criticised for not retaining the waterproof capabilities of its predecessor the S5.
